Connections magazine

Connections magazine is an annual publication giving a voice to organisations and influencers we work with who share our aim of helping to make communities and workplaces safer.

Connections magazine - Spring 2020

This edition explores our charity’s impact, with personal endorsements from key organisations and influencers who value our vital work supporting law enforcement across the United Kingdom.

Despite challenging times, last year over half a million people trusted us with their crime information. This is information that may never have been heard had it not been for our unique service guaranteeing anonymity. We’ve kept that promise since we began over 32 years ago.

Highlights include:

  • Children’s Commissioner Anne Longfield on the real cost of County Lines
  • How Crimestoppers being different from the police is more important than you might think
  • A look at our unique role in overcoming the barriers to reporting crime
  • Gwent PCC Jeff Cuthbert championing our youth service Fearless
  • NCA’s Kate Fisher on the hunt for Britain’s most dangerous criminals
  • Our innovative campaign aimed at Romanian job hunters to warn about potential exploitation
  • Trustee Barry Mizen on how witnesses can make all the different when seeking justice
  • Why there’s an important difference between anonymity and confidentiality
  • Former Victims’ Commissioner Baroness Helen Newlove on fronting our BBC Radio 4 Appeal

We hope you enjoy reading through this online edition and thank you for your continued support and interest in our charity.
