Up to £5,000 reward offered for information on assault of 64-year-old Watford cyclist

Up to £5,000 reward offered for information on assault of 64-year-old Watford cyclist

We're offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for kicking a 64-year-old man off his bike as he rode through Watford.

The incident occurred on Bushey Mill Lane on 30th May just before 5.00 p.m. when the cyclist was kicked off of his bike by a man standing on the pavement with his own bike.

As a result, the victim had to be rushed to hospital suffering with a serious neck injury, which has left him paralysed.

The attacker, who is wanted for GBH, is described as a white male.

As an independent charity, we're now offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the man responsible.*

“This was a completely unprovoked attack that left an innocent man needing hospital treatment.

“'Senseless' and 'heartless' are the words that come to mind when I think about this incident - and now our charity would really like to find who was responsible.

“Contacting Crimestoppers is 100% anonymous. Always. I’d really encourage anyone with information to pick up the phone or complete our secure online form, and be a good ambassador for your community.”
