BBC correspondent visits our Contact Centre

Danny Shaw (@DannyShawBBC) visited our Contact Centre recently.

We were delighted to host BBC Home Affairs Correspondent Danny Shaw at our Contact Centre near Godstone.

Danny spent several hours listening to some of the calls we deal with and interviewing Mark Hallas, our CEO, and he recorded an in-depth piece for the BBC Radio flagship programme Today - follow this link and click approximately 50 minutes in to hear Danny's item.

He also wrote an article for the BBC website, which you can see here. The piece highlights our crucial role in the conviction of murderer James Atherley, and shows that our service is popular with young people and those from black or ethnic minority groups. At one stage, this was the third-most viewed item on the website.
