Gloucestershire: Help us catch Stroud war memorial vandals

A reward of up to £3,000 is available for information that leads to the conviction of vandals who chiselled off names of fallen soldiers from the Stroud war memorial.
The Grade II listed memorial has a stone plaque which commemorates local people who fought and died in the First and the Second World War.
The Town Council's Green Spaces team discovered the deliberate damage made to the memorial in Park Gardens, Slad Road, in the early hours of Monday 17 June 2019.

“This seems to be a deliberate attack which would have taken some time to do. It is especially upsetting for people who lost relatives that sacrificed their lives in the wars for their country. This is why our charity is offering a reward to encourage people to come forward.
