Reward offered for information on Morrisons store knife-point robbery

Together with supermarket Morrisons, we're offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information on a store robbery that saw members of staff threatened with a knife and assaulted.
The incident occurred at around 9.50pm on Saturday 2 February 2019 at the chain’s Queensbury store on Honeypot Lane, when a man wearing all dark clothing with his face concealed, arrived at the store carrying a large knife.
He entered the tobacco kiosk area where he threatened and assaulted a female colleague and a further male colleague. The offender demanded the female open the till whilst continuing to make threats and assaulting her. The attacker eventually made off with a small quantity of money in what was a distressing incident for the colleagues involved.
Together with Morrisons, we are now offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information we receive that leads to the arrest and charge of the person responsible.
“This was a really frightening ordeal that Morrisons staff have gone through and I have no doubts that this will take them a long time to get over.
“Nobody should feel unsafe where they work, and that is why we are really keen to support Morrisons in trying to gain information on the person who thinks this type of crime is acceptable.
“If you have any information on who might be responsible for this robbery, contact our charity. In over 30 years we have always kept our promise of 100% anonymity to everyone who trusts us with their crime information. No-one will know you contacted us and it could be your information that makes a huge difference.”
A Morrisons Spokesperson added: "We were appalled by the attack on our colleagues at our store in Queensbury. We are working closely with the police and we'd urge anybody with any information to contact the charity Crimestoppers with information."
If you have any information on who is responsible for this robbery, contact us 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through our non-traceable anonymous online form.
