Violent attack on lone female employee during robbery at Haringey jewellers prompts our £5,000 reward for info

We are offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a smash and grab raid on a North London jewellers’ shop that left a female employee injured and traumatised.

The attack was on the family-owned jewellers' in Green Lanes, Haringey, N8 at around 12.45 am on Monday 15th April 2019.

A man – pretending to be a customer who needed jewellery valued – immediately assaulted and restrained the sole employee, a female. He held her in a headlock and dragged her to the ground.

He then allowed two other men access to the store. Over several minutes they were able to steal a substantial amount of jewellery and cause considerable damage to the store.

Glass cabinets were smashed during the raid and there was jewellery scattered over the shop floor.

The female employee – who was able to seek refuge in a room at the rear of the store during the commotion – has been left anxious and traumatised.

CCTV footage, which has already been released, clearly shows the raid unfolding. The three attackers eventually escaped, despite having difficulty opening the secure front door.
