A reward of up to £5,000 is offered for information after a pensioner was brutally attacked in his home in Oldbury, West Midlands.
A reward of up to £5,000 is offered for information after a pensioner was brutally attacked in his home in Oldbury, West Midlands.
Albert Joseph, who is 71 years old, had returned from a local shop on Sunday 10 February 2019 where it is believed he took out £700 to pay for various items.
Shortly after returning to an address in Titford Road, Oldbury, four men forced entry into his property. A violent attack ensued where the Mr Joseph was attacked with a hammer to his head, and also stabbed and slashed around the head and neck. His injuries left him with a broken back.
His wife witnessed the attack and Mr Joseph’s six-year-old son who was at the property at the time had a knife put to his throat.
Stolen were £4,000 worth of jewellery and gold, and a total of £450 cash.
