Bristol Half Marathon runners do us proud
It was a beautiful warm sunny Sunday in Bristol as 10 runners donned their vests and ran the Bristol Half Marathon for Crimestoppers, raising funds and awareness as the crowds cheered them on.
A huge thank you to all of them, and also to the amazing volunteers we have in the West Country, who gave up their Sunday to support the runners and shout out about Crimestoppers!
Free food tastings added to a thoroughly enjoyable morning, and Regional Manager Karen MacDonald QPM thinks one or two of our wonderful volunteers may even have been inspired to run themselves in the future!
It was also great to have Sarah from Highwood Wellbeing supporting us with her sports massaging, both before and after the run – many thanks to her.
Watch out for our runners in other races around the UK - now that they have their Crimestoppers vests, there may be no stopping them!
