Fearless.org is running an Instagram competition to keep young people safe and informed about crime

Our youth service Fearless.org is currently running an Instagram competition for young people in Gloucestershire, to raise awareness of our charity there.

Targeting young people between the ages of 11-19, Fearless.org seeks to fully inform them about the reality of crime and criminality in a non-judgemental way, to steer them away from making wrong choices and to reduce the likelihood of them or their peers becoming involved in criminality.

Fearless.org also enables young people to pass on any crime information 100% anonymously via the website Fearless.org.

To enter the competition, to be in with a chance of winning one of two £25 Nando’s gift vouchers, a young person will need to follow ‘Fearlessuk’ on Instagram, like the competition post and comment ‘#FearlessGlos’.

The competition closes at midnight UK time on 3rd October 2019. The two winners will be picked at random and contacted within three working days via Instagram Direct Message.

“Social media is a powerful tool to reach out to young people, to guide and make a positive difference to them, so I am delighted that we are running this Instagram competition for Gloucestershire.

“Fearless.org isn’t about judging young people, it’s about educating them and giving them answers to questions about serious crime they might have. It’s also here to take information from them, 100% anonymously, without the fear of any repercussions, via our Fearless.org site, which can be accessed via all of our social media channels.

“Our charity has always kept its promise of anonymity to everyone who contacts us.”

Leon Hobson, Fearless Outreach worker for Gloucestershire and Wiltshire
