£3,000 reward on offer following suspected burglary of Bristol pensioner which left her in hospital

We are offering a reward of up to £3,000 for information about a suspected burglary which took place this month at an 88-year-old woman’s home in Bristol.

She was found at about 1.30pm on the floor of her home in Somerdale Avenue, Knowle, Bristol on Wednesday 12^th February by a meals on wheels delivery person, who on arrival found the front door open.

After an ambulance had been called, her family realised someone had been searching through her home and that valuables were missing.

It is unclear if the victim was assaulted after disturbing an intruder or whether she collapsed or fell. She is currently too ill to give an account of what happened.
