Appeal with £10,000 reward after Haringey murder

Crimestoppers is appealing for information and offering a reward in connection with the murder of a man in Haringey, north London.
The 23-year-old was chatting to friends on Culvert Road, N15 at around 8.13pm when they were chased by a group of at least three men armed with large knives. The attackers had arrived in a car with false number plates. The armed group caught up with Jemal in an alleyway and stabbed him once in the leg, severing one of his arteries.
Despite the best efforts of the public, police, paramedics and doctors, Jemal sadly died at the scene.
***We are offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information our charity exclusively receives – either online or by calling freephone 0800 555 111 – leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for Jemal Ebrahim’s murder***
“As we publicised this reward and appeal, our thoughts are very much with the family and friends of Jemal after this awful killing.
“It’s shocking to read the circumstances of his murder and the unease it has caused inevitably across Haringey. Crimestoppers, as a charity, believes in safe communities. We are on the side of those who may know about crime but are often too scared or for cultural reasons reluctant to come forward and speak directly to the police.
“If you know who was responsible, this is your opportunity to do the right thing, to protect the community from coming to greater harm by passing on information that may help see those involved face the consequences. The family deserve to see justice.
“Crimestoppers has been taking crime information since our charity was formed over 32 years ago. We have always kept our promise of anonymity to the millions of people who have trusted us. Every day over a thousand people contact us either online and on the phone.
“You can speak to us 100% anonymously by calling our UK Contact Centre which is open 24/7 on freephone 0800 555 111 or you can use our simple and secure Anonymous Online Form. Nobody will know you contacted us, only you. And your information, however small, could make a difference. Remember, you stay 100% anonymous. Always.”
***Note: Information passed directly to police will not qualify for our reward. Only information passed to Crimestoppers’ using our untraceable Anonymous Online Form or via our 0800 555 111 freephone number will qualify***
