£5,000 reward for Tipton brutal attack information

We are offering a reward for information after a man was violently attacked inside his parked van in Tipton.
Latvian Igors Loginovs, who is aged 40, was asleep inside his van, parked on Kings Court Trading Estate, Sedgley Road East, Tipton. At 7am on Sunday 5th January 2020, a lone man who is unknown to the victim, broke into his vehicle and attacked him.
The suspect, who was walking in the direction of Tipton, tried to open the locked van before picking up a piece of wood and smashing the driver’s door window to gain entry.
The disorder in the van spilled out onto the carpark where Mr Loginovs suffered a prolonged attack, where he was repeatedly beaten by the attacker using a piece of wood.
He sustained several fractures to the skull which led to a large bleed to the brain. He required intensive care and spent two weeks in hospital.

After the attack, the suspect then got into the vehicle and drove away, leaving Mr Loginovs motionless on the ground. The stolen van broke down near-by and caught fire. The suspect then left the scene on foot along Dudley Port towards Horsley Heath.
Mr Loginovs slowly came around and a member of the public eventually found him and called an ambulance. He has no family in the UK and speaks no English. He has been discharged from hospital, but remains in a traumatised state.
