£1,000 reward for return of stolen Bedfordshire dogs

£1,000 reward for return of stolen Bedfordshire dogs

We have launched an appeal for anonymous information for the safe return of four dogs stolen from kennels in Bedfordshire in September this year.

The much-loved dogs were stolen from Wilden in Bedfordshire on Sunday 13 September. Five other dogs were also stolen at the same time, but have now been reunited with their owners.

A reward of up to £1,000 will be given by us for information leading to the safe return of these beautiful dogs, who are: Bea, a liver and white coloured Springer Spaniel; Tig, another liver and white coloured Springer Spaniel; Stan, a black Labrador; and Bell, a black Cocker Spaniel. Information on those behind these thefts will also be rewarded.

There have been a series of dog thefts across the region and owners and kennels are reminded to always remain vigilant, to keep premises secure and to micro-chip all dogs.

“Stealing animals, normally for financial gain, is criminal, heartless and totally unacceptable. We are appealing for the safe return of Bea, Tig, Stan and Bell and we are offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information, given anonymously to our charity that leads to their safe return. We would also like to see the people who stole them face prosecution.

“It is highly probable that they were stolen by an organised crime gang. Please tell our charity what you know, so that these individuals can be stopped and future harm to dogs and heartbreak for owners can be prevented. We guarantee you’ll stay 100% anonymous. Always. You can call our UK Contact Centre, which is open 24/7, on freephone number 0800 555 111 or you can fill out our simple and secure anonymous online form. Your information could make all the difference and reunite much-loved dogs with their owners and you could be eligible for a reward.”
Annabelle Goodenough, , Crimestoppers South Eastern Region Manager

Please note: computer IP addresses are never traced and no-one will ever know you contacted us. For telephone calls, we have no caller line display, no 1471 facility and have never traced a call.

***Information passed directly to police will not qualify for our reward. Only information passed to Crimestoppers using our simple and secure anonymous online form or via our freephone 0800 555 111 number will qualify***
