Regional volunteers
Our dedicated volunteers carry out a number of great roles for us
Meet Nosheen, Project Volunteer
Nosheen started volunteering for Crimestoppers during her gap year. She volunteers on local projects in Birmingham, recently taking part in Project Shadow (talking to people about honour-based violence, female genital mutilation (FGM) and forced marriages).
“Being a part of Crimestoppers has helped me meet some amazing people who want things to change.”

Meet Carole, London Strategic Advisory Board member
Carole came to know about Crimestoppers through her work in the Violent Crime Unit at the Home Office. She became a volunteer with us in her home town of London. She is working with the Board on plans to set up teams of volunteers in London which will implement projects and campaigns to make a difference locally.
“I volunteer because I think that if you’ve got the time, it’s important to do something for the community – it gives you so much. I like to use my time to help other people, and to keep London safe.”
