Volunteer Awards 2020

Here at Crimestoppers, we believe everyone has the right to feel safe from crime, wherever they live. Our unique service gives people the power to speak up and stop crime – 100% anonymously. We couldn’t engage with the communities that need our service most without the help of our volunteers.

That’s why we launched the Crimestoppers Volunteer Awards.

Entries were judged by our CEO Mark Hallas, Volunteer Manager Greg Rees, Trustee Barry Mizen and Lead Volunteer Phil O’Shea...

...and we're delighted to announce our winners!

After reading through all the nominations, the judges agreed that the quality of the nominees was stunning. Our Trustee judge, Barry Mizen, commented that “the sheer dedication of people was quite amazing and the longevity of their commitment to Crimestoppers was just so impressive.”

We recently held a virtual Volunteering Award Ceremony - watch the introduction video from our CEO Mark Hallas...
